The secret behind Mariah Carey's hot figure

The Pop diva who’s given some memorable tracks like ‘Hero’ and ‘I Stay in Love’ has admittedly been “very happy” ever since she married singer Nick Cannon in the Bahamas early this year.

But a lot of effort and abstinence has gone into acquiring the new slim figure which Mariah is flaunting these days.


Under the guidance of her longtime trainer Patricia Gay, Mariah has been following a very strict diet and has been working out regularly.

“It’s mainly about the diet…For breakfast, Patricia will make some boring eggs and I don’t really like eggs anyway, and she’ll give me some probiotic yoghurt to help with digestion,” Mariah is quoted by The Mirror.

Mariah added that for lunch and dinner she would often take just plain vegetable soup without any cream.

With an intake of just 1,500 calories per day, Mariah admitted she often felt tempted to munch in whenever she would eat her favourite meal of fried chicken and macaroni cheese at a restaurant in New York. But the singer practiced abstinence and would nibble at just the morsels of her favourite dish.

Mariah said she has been, however, sneaking some of her husband’s favourite candies at times.
