Ash and Bon Jovi unite for Live Earth

Bon Jovi and Pink Floyd’s Roger Walters will join Ash along with Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan to entertain us whilst delivering a powerful message. Other stars gracing the stage will be Abhishek Bachan, Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, Bipasha Basu, Shiamak Davar, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Hard Kaur, Vishal-Shekhar, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Sunidhi Chauhan Sonu Nigam Shaan and Anoushka Shankar. What an extravaganza!

However, the list doesn’t end there with stars such as Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas also flying in to perform. This unparalleled alliance of Eastern and Western stars is certain to yield a diverse show, which will be a surefire crowd pleaser!


Proceeds from the concert will be donated to Climate Project India to help fund their educational programs and renewable energy projects with money also going to TERI's Light a Billion Lives campaign which works to provide solar lighting to rural homes without electricity.

The event's founder, former US Vice President Al Gore, will also be on hand to talk about the importance and urgency of climate issues.

The first Live Earth concerts were held on July 7, 2007 in nine cities including London, Johannesburg and Tokyo with stars from around the world joining the fight against global warming.
